Parallel save and truncate operations

Am I right in thinking that Sterling cannot handle save and truncation operations in parallel?

In a couple of instances in my application I'm truncating a table on one thread while another is saving some user data. The table I'm truncating is a different table to those being saved to but I consistently get a SterlingIsolatedStorageException if I don't lock around the save and truncate operations.

Is this expected behaviour or might there be another issue that I'm not seeing?

Sterling should be able to run those in parallel if the truncate is on a separate table from the read - the locking mechanisms should not overlap. It's definitely an issue if that is happening. Can you please log a bug in the issue tracker?
